Stud Mount
Studs are aluminum threaded post
on the rear of the letters.
|
|
|
|
Pad Mount
Pads are plastic disks on the rear of
the letters. Secure the letters to the
wall with silicone caulk adhesive.
|
|
|
|
Combination All
Combination all letters have stud through
pads all mounts. The pads can be positions up and down the stud to
accommodate an uneven mounting surface or to offset the letters from the
mounting surface to increase the shadow effect from lighting.

|
Installation Pattern For Stud Mounted Letters
Always check pattern first on a flat horizonal surface
|

|
|
1.
Tape one edge of the template to the installation surface with masking tape
and unroll it. Level the template and tape the other edge to the installation
surface.

2. Mark
holes with center punch, then drill 1/4" holes 3 inches deep where indicated
on your template. Remove the template and clean out all drill holes using a
quick puff of air blown through a straw.

Insert the studs into the stud holes on the back of each letter. Place letters
in holes on wall befor applying silcone to verify position. Adjust as
necessary. Now fill the drill holes in wall of the first letter with silicone
caulk.

4. Push
the tube of silicone over each stud on the first letter in order to evenly
coat it with silicone caulk.

|
|

5. Push
the letter into the drill holes using a shim to assure the proper standoff of
the letter from the wall. Secure to wall using long strips of tape. Remove
tape after silicone sets. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for the rest of the letters.

|
Installation For Pad Mounted Letters
Always check spacing tape first on a flat horizonal surface

|
|
|
|
1. Position one end of spacing
tape on wall, secure with masking tape, level and tape other end. Spacing
tape shows general position of each letter.
|
|
2. Apply silicone caulk to all
pads. Position letter where indicated by spacing tape. Tape letter to wall
with several strips of masking tape.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
3. Adjust caulked letter as needed
then push letter against wall to insure a good adhesive bond. Allow silicone
caulk to cure for at least 15 minutes befor removing your tape. An overnight
curing time is recommended.
