is the correct flag size for my twenty foot flagpole?

|
A. The
lenght of the flag should be at least 1/4 the height of the flagpole, a twenty
foot flagpole would fly a 3' x 5' flag. See Determining

Q. I
want to hang my banner over a street between two existing poles, what is the
best way ?
|
|
A. Does
your local sign code require a permit for this type of installation?
If so, we can make your banner to the required specs. If not, the ideal
installation method for over the street banners is to install two cables
between the existing poles with turnbuckles and cable clamps. Attach your
banner to the cables with snap hooks run through the grommets. This helps to
distribute the wind load evenly across the banner surface. Tension banner in
each corner with ratchet straps. This will keep the banner from bunching up
like a shower curtain. We recommend a custom banner made from heavy duty
banner material constructed with webbing in the hem, gussets (corner
reinforcement), O-Rings and grommets every 12" top and bottom.

Q. What
is the difference between a spacing tape and a mounting
pattern ?
|

A.
Spacing tapes are used to roughly show proper spacing for pad mounting
letters. Mounting patterns have exact hole locations for each dimentional
letter punched in kraft paper to provide a guide for drilling holes for
studs.

Q. Why are
"O"s, "S"s and other curved plastic letters made larger than square letters
like "T" or "H" ?

A. Preception.
The eye simply perceives curved letters or shapes to be smaller than square
letters or shapes.
