NEW DESIGN IN FLAGPOLES
A couple of summer ago we lost our old flagpole due to high winds from a
tropical storm. I admit to procrastination and even laziness for waiting so
long to finally getting around to replacing it. However sometimes
procrastinating can be a good habit, as it was for this project. I happened to
stumble upon a totally new design in flagpoles! By far the most practical
design of any flagpole on the market. The beauty of this flagpole is
simplicity of design and versatility. It has been engineered to eliminate the
problems the ordinary old style flagpoles created. The revolutionary
design makes the rope and pulley flagpoles obsolete. It has an unique
telescoping action that allows the pole to smoothly extend from 7 ft. to 20
ft. in just seconds! Sections slide inside one another clicking into place,
locking and releasing at the touch of a button. “Childproof” locking collars
help prevent accidental telescoping and the ground sleeve with locking collar
helps deter theft. With no halyard and hardware (standard on ordinary
flagpoles) there is no rope to snarl or clang! The double harness allows me to
fly two flags at a time or one flag at half mast. Best of all the flagpole was
designed to be virtually maintenance free. The flagpole is made in America of
top quality components that can all be replace separately if needed. The flag
attaches to UV protected polycarbonate collars with stainless steel clips that
rotate 360 degrees, this helps prevent the flag from tangling. The flagpole is
made of aircraft quality 2-5/8 inch diameter 16 gauge aluminum with a choice
of three durable finishes that will never rust or need painting. It came
complete with a gold ball top and FREE 3 ft. x 5 ft. top-quality nylon
American Flag with embroidered stars. The installation was fast and easy. I
just secured the ground sleeve with cement and checked that it was level.
Letting the kids put there hand prints in the cement made it a fun family
project. The following day I slipped the pole easily into the sleeve, attached
the flag and extended it to the full 20ft. Now next time a saver storm comes
along I’ll just telescope my flag down, unlock the ground sleeve and take both
my flag and pole inside safe with me. Numerous accessories
and options make the flagpole even more versatile. Mounting brackets allow you
to install the flagpole on a deck, dock or any flat, horizontal or vertical
surface and a wheel stand that I plan to use with my RV at tailgate parties.
